Sthakaselo Magnificent Mkhungo aka Goo J Poet.I am continuously discovering myself.
Born to Mlungisi and Nomusa Mkhungo the 1st born between two siblings Nokukhanya and Menamisi
I have been blessed with a gift to channel God's thoughts hence I call myself Goo who is the I am that lives in me.
I went to Khulamtwana pre-school then from there to Umnafu primary then to Umtwalume Primary school and eventualy Port Shepstone High School for my seniour years.During the end of my school career I was nominated to take part in the International Society of Poets an event held in Philadelphia August 2004 where I was awarderd for my artistic ability (Not to mention I didn't that myself at the time) and two years after another event held in Las Vegas, Riviera Hotel where I was awarded there in the midst of poets all around the world
I furthered my studies at the Durban University of Technology (Steve Biko campus) this is also home of where my art grew.I took part in the Pour A Tree circle and emerged from looking up to prominent poets like Sakhile,Ngonyama and Mxolisi
This year I made auditions for Poetry Africa Slamjam competition to be held at Bat Center 09 October 2010.
